Most pet gear is sold on how it looks in a photograph. We buy it on the things you only find out about in month three: whether the stitching holds where the load actually goes, whether the cover comes off to be washed, and whether the size chart is a measurement or a breed name.
Elevyt is a small catalogue of everyday, non-electronic gear for dogs and cats — walking, travel, grooming and rest. Everything here is mechanical. Nothing has a battery in it.
What we will not sell you
This is the most useful thing we can tell you, because you can check it against the catalogue in about a minute.
- No shock, vibration or ultrasonic collars. They dominate the training-collar category and we stock none of them.
- No electronics at all — no GPS or Bluetooth trackers, no automatic feeders, no electric clippers, no cameras.
- Nothing applied to the animal — no shampoos, sprays, balms, supplements or treatments. We are not a pharmacy and will not pretend to be.
- No cartoon prints, rhinestones or character trade dress. If it reads as a toy, it is not here.
- No food or water bowls. Food-contact certification is a real responsibility and not one we can stand behind at this size.
How we size things
Every size chart on this site is a measurement in inches that you take yourself — chest girth behind the front legs, neck at the base. Not a weight, and not a breed. A deep-chested spaniel and a barrel-chested staffie can weigh the same and need different harnesses, which is why weight-based charts generate so many returns.
Where a product has an adjustment range, we say what it is. Between two sizes, go up: straps take in, they do not let out.
What we check before stocking something
- Load points. Bar-tacked stitching and welded rings, because the stitching fails before the webbing does.
- Cleaning. Whether the cover comes off, and what happens on the third wash. If a bed is genuinely spot-clean-only, the listing says so.
- Fit range. How far the adjusters actually travel.
- Honest photography. We reject supplier images carrying burned-in marketing copy or another company's logo, and we would rather show you one clean photograph than five decorated ones.

If something is wrong
Thirty days, unworn, for a refund of the item price. If a size is wrong, tell us the two measurements and we will tell you which one to take rather than guessing again. Questions go to the contact page and we answer within one business day.
